I have seen some questions and answers on the site regarding Doherty HS and the bond that was passed during the last election. The answers by the facilities dept. has stated that the bond does not allow for any additional students to Doherty.
The bond that I voted for and am paying for said that it was going to allow for 400 additional students at Doherty and would bring the school capacity to 2200. What exactly is the situation here?

All the info that has been sent home indicated that only students from Wagon Trails neighborhood would be going to the new school Freedom. I just found out that part of Sundown is included in the new school. I
would have gone to the mtgs. if I had known. My kids would have to cross a major street, Dublin and now we can walk to Scott. My address is 5095 Hawk Springs. Everything said only Wagon Trails neighborhood would go to the new school so I just ignored anything to do with meetings. I feel pretty disappointed since I have a 3rd, 4th and 5th grader.
